About Us

Mamma Mia was founded in New Jersey in 1980. We have catered our award-winning pizza to the New York Giants, Billy Joe, Bill Cosby, George Steinbrenner, John Gotti, Donald Trump and Frank Sinatra, just to name a few.

In 2003, Frank Jr. opened the first Mamma Mia Pizza in Phoenix on 40th Street & Indian School Road, brining that authentic New Jersey pizza by the slice taste, value and attitude to the valley. It wasn't long until our second store in Phoenix opened on 8th Street and Indian School road.

After almost 30 years, we are still family owned and operated. We strive to bring you the finest, freshly prepared Italian cuisine delivered to your door at a reasonable price. Our Penne Vodka pasta was named by the Arizona Republic as "one of the most delicious and reasonably priced meals in the valley". Our New Times Best in Phoenix awards speak for themselves.
